So.... Bucky's performance was pretty sad... not that the evening on the whole was impressive. He and Lisa did, however, stand out to me as the worst of the evening. I'm definitely thinking they will be in the bottom three, although who the third will be is a toss up for me.

Has anyone else noticed Ryan Seacrest's newly protective attitude toward the contestants this year? He seems to genuinely be upset by the judges' thoughtless remarks and lack of clear constructive criticism. Do you think this is an attitude that is sincerely his own? Or one that has been thrust upon him by the producers to make the show have more "heart"?
